UAE Navy, interest in Dolphin-class submarinesnote

There is talk that the UAE is still seeking to acquire advanced submarines, as part of its efforts to strengthen its strategic land, air, naval and aerospace capabilities to protect its interests in the region.

In this regard, the UAE is said to be seeking to reactivate military cooperation with Germany for the procurement of  Dolphin-class submarines.
