Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz received a telephone call last month (19/2/21) from US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
Crown Prince Mohammad and Austin are said to have assessed the Houthi capability of penetrating the Saudi airspace through drones as well as cruise and ballistic missiles, despite the deployment of multiple advanced radars.
There is talk that this comes in light of calls by senior Saudi officials at the Defense Ministry to diversify suppliers for the procurement of air defense systems.
Tactical Report has prepared a 445-word report to shed more light on this subject.
