The Yemeni Houthi rebels claimed last Monday (23/11/20) to have launched a cruise missile attack on a Saudi Aramco distribution plant in the Red Sea city of Jeddah.
This came after another Houthi attack launched on Friday 13/11/20 by two unmanned boats against an offloading floating platform of an oil distribution refinery in Jazan.
In both attacks, the Houthis are said to have been able to penetrate Saudi Arabia’s coastal and naval defenses of Aramco’s facilities.
Why? Are there any reasons?
Are there any plans to repel such attacks?
Tactical Report answers these questions and more in the following 449-word report.
