Qatar: Emir Tamim, Palestinian reconciliation and peace processnote

Qatari Emir Tamim is reportedly claiming that any peace agreement with Israel should first be accepted by the Palestinian Fatah and Hamas movements, as they represent the majority of the Palestinian people.

This comes as Fatah and Hamas are currently holding reconciliation talks, the latest round of which was held on Saturday (26/9/20) in Doha.
