Oman, Britain and cooperation on anti-drone capabilitiesnote

Omani Minister of State for Defense Affairs Badr Bin Saud Al-Busaidi paid a visit to London this week to attend DSEI London 2019.

He met there with British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace and Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Timothy Frasier.

Al-Busaidi and Admiral Frasier are said to have helped the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and the British Royal Navy (RN) reach a preliminary understanding by which the RNO will get consultations to develop its capabilities of countering drones.

Tactical Report has prepared a 246-word report to shed more light on RNO’s efforts to develop its anti-drone capabilities.
