Minister of state for Foreign Affairs Yusuf Bin Alawi travelled to Tehran yesterday (20/5/19) to meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.
This came following a phone call between US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
It also came following a meeting between Bin Alawi and former US Army General Jack Keane.
