Qatari Minister of State for Defence Affairs Khaled Al-Atiyyah is said to have plans to buy more main battle tanks in favor of the Qatari Armored Brigades.
This comes after Qatar concluded a deal with Turkey to buy up to 100 main battle tanks of type Altay.
