Kuwaiti Defence Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled held talks with his Turkish counterpart Nurettin Canikli on 17/8/17 in Ankara during a three-day visit to Turkey. Sheikh Mohammad is said to have discussed with Minister Canikli the possibility of buying landing ships of type TCG Bayraktar in favor of the Kuwaiti Navy.
