The Egyptian Alexandria Shipyard (ASY) and the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri signed a memorandum
of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of DIMDEX (4-6/3/2024) in Doha.
The Egyptian Navy is said to be interested in securing a transfer of technology (TOT) agreement to locally manufacture warships as part of the MoU.
