UAE EDGE Group and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) announced on 13/11/2023 an
agreement to integrate EDGE smart weapons onto GA-ASI’s MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
GA-ASI President David Alexander is said to have held discussions last month with Tawazun CEO Tareq Abdulraheem Al-Hosani on the stalled deal of 18 MQ-9B SkyGuardian UAVs.
