A specialized team in the Qatari Ministry of State for Defense Affairs is reported to be studying
several proposals recommended by air defense experts and consultants regarding various types of laser weapons systems (LWS).
These proposals are said to include contacting European and U.S. defense companies specialized in the manufacture of laser weapons.
