Summary

Emirati National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed is reported to be offering indications

over the future roles of Tawazun, and the defense company EDGE Group in the national defense hierarchy.

He is said to be concerned about the redundancies in defense procurement efforts, and is therefore moving to more clearly define the roles and briefs of both Tawazun and EDGE Group.
