UAE: Replacements for HAWK and Crotale systems

Summary

The UAE continues to look for a long-term replacement for the older U.S. and French-made systems in

its air defense arsenal.

The aging U.S. and French-made air defense missiles in the UAE AFAD inventory in need of replacement include Raytheon’s MIM-23 HAWK (Homing All the Way Killer), and Thales' Crotale.
