UN Special Rapporteur Agnes Callamard has publicly revived the case of Saudi journalist Jamal
Khashoggi who was murdered at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul in October last year.
Callamard should present her report today (26/6/19) to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
In her report, she concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz should be investigated over the case.
However, President Trump is said to have no plan to make an issue of the UN report’s findings with King Salman or Crown Prince Mohammad.
