Saudi King Salman is said to be holding consultations with his brothers over the future of the Saudi
Allegiance Council. This is likely to have to do with his policy to contain the situation within the ruling Al-Saud family following the anti-corruption crackdown in the country and to put again on track his plans to secure a peaceful transition of power in the Kingdom from him to his son Crown Prince Mohammad.
