Iraq Army Aviation, plans to buy light attack helicopters

Commander of the Iraqi Army Aviation Major-General Hamed Al-Maliki is said to have begun talking to Iraqi PM Haider Al-Abadi and the General Staff of the Iraqi Armed Forces about a project to buy more light attack helicopters for the Iraqi Army Aviation in order to reinforce protection of the armored brigades in the ongoing battle of Mosul.
