The US House Foreign Affairs Committee approved last Thursday (25/3/21) the Protection of Saudi Dissidents Act, a legislation which was reintroduced last February (26/2/21). This has paved the way for the legislation to be taken up by the full House of Representatives.
The Biden administration is said to be confident that the Saudi Dissidents Protection Act will pass the House of Representatives with wide bipartisan support.
