Last week (16/6/21), Saudi Arabia announced a project to cooperate with an international defense company to provide training and support for the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) Aviation. Saudi Arabia is looking to award a single contract for this project.
In this regard, the US government issued earlier this month (9/6/21) a Request for Information (RFI). The RFI aims at issuing a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract for all SANG Aviation rotary-wing training and support functions. The training and support operations would begin in October 2022.
There is talk that US company DynCorp International is among the top contenders for this project.
Tactical Report has prepared a 383-word report to shed more light on this subject.
