Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad, President Trump and Vision 2030

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz held a breakfast meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G20 summit meeting in Osaka, Japan.

Reports from Riyadh suggest that during the meeting, President Trump confirmed to Crown Prince Mohammad that he has his full support to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030.

He promised that, through his position as U.S. President, he would help in overcoming all the obstacles that might arise.

President Trump also promised that he would not let his opponents and enemies take on him, especially the human rights activists.

President Trump also confirmed in the presence of the Saudi delegation that accompanied Crown Prince Mohammad to the G20 summit meeting that “his advisors, especially National Security Advisor John Bolton, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Senior Advisor Jared Kushner are prepared to offer advice to help the Vision 2030 succeed”.

He added that “when it comes to him, the Khashoggi case is closed, as long as the investigations are ongoing in the Kingdom.”

He treated Crown Prince Mohammad as “the next Saudi King who will elevate Saudi Arabia to the ranks of the most important countries in the Middle East and the world in the coming decade.” President Trump also confirmed repeatedly that “any step regarding Iran will be discussed with Crown Prince Mohammad, wishing Crown Prince Mohammad to convey his position to King Salman.”
