The repeated Houthi attacks on Saudi oil facilities are said to have prompted the Saudi Ministry of Defense to open the door for Saudi Aramco to participate in the various decisions and preparations related to the protection of these facilities.
Most recently (19/3/21), the Yemeni Houthi rebels claimed to have successfully attacked a Saudi Aramco oil refinery in Riyadh, using six bomb-laden drones.
