The Russian Defence Ministry is said to have informed the Saudi Defense Ministry of its readiness to receive a team of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Force (RSADF) at the Russian-operated Hmeimim air base in Latakia in Syria.
The Russians want the RSADF team to have a close look at the Russian air defense capabilities there.
This comes within the context of Russian efforts to sell air defense systems to the Kingdom to help it protect its oil facilities against drones and cruise missiles.
Tactical Report has prepared a 381-word report to shed more light on the subject and tell what about the Russian proposal.
