Ever since Deputy Chief of Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces Lt-General Mutlaq Azaima replaced Lt-General Prince Fahd Bin Turki Bin Abdulaziz as Acting Commander of the Saudi Joint Forces last year, attention has been directed towards the performance of the Joint Forces against the Yemeni Houthi rebels in Yemen and on the Kingdom’s southern border.
In this regard, there is talk that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Abdulaziz is not satisfied with the Joint Forces’ performance under the new leadership so far, and that the role of the Joint Forces may be reassessed altogether.
Tactical Report has prepared a 378-word report to shed more light on this subject.
