Most members of the ruling Al Saud family are said to agree that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz has gained control over all affairs related to rule and governance since 2016, with the full support of his father King Salman in this regard.
However, there is talk that a number of Al Saud members have recently been calling for reviving discussions and consultations about governance affairs between Al Saud branches as well as reactivating the mechanism that governs the transition of power.
