The command of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) is said to be going ahead with a project to purchase a number of boats.

This comes in the context of a plan to reinforce protection of military vessels and commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz against drones and other aerial threats.

The RNO command is said to have already receive an offer for the project.
