Qatar is
going ahead with plans to buy the US-made National Advanced Surface to Air
Missile System (NASAMS) in favor of the Qatar Air Defence Force (QADF).
However,
this does not mean that the Qataris have scrapped plans to buy the Russian-made
Pantsir-S1 or similar EU-made air defence systems.
