Qatar Interior Ministry, major role in World Cup security projectsnote

Qatari Emir Tamim is said to have requested that all agreements related to projects aimed at protecting the 2022 FIFA World Cup be discussed with the Qatari Interior Ministry, in coordination with the Qatari Olympic Committee (QOC).

This comes as part of Emir Tamim's plans to define the roles and responsibilities of all Qatari authorities involved in these projects.
