Qatari Emir Tamim did not attend the 40th GCC summit meeting that was held yesterday (10/12/19) in Riyadh.
Instead, Qatari PM Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani headed the Qatari delegation to the summit meeting.
There was talk at the summit meeting about the necessity of setting up a regional military project to face Iran's threats.
However, Qatar is said to have no intention to contribute to any regional military cooperation project before the ongoing Saudi-led blockade imposed on the country is completely removed.
