Qatar: Emir Tamim, Trump and work on new arms deals

Qatari Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani started his visit to Washington and met with US President Donald Trump and Acting Defense Secretary Esper last night (July 8, 2019) at a dinner hosted by US Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin.

Trump and Esper are said to have reassured him that the United States can continue to meet all the Qatari Armed Forces’ needs, now and going forward, including notably UAVs, armored personal carriers (APCs), air-to-air missiles and air defence systems.

Tactical Report has prepared a 428-word report to shed more light on the subject and tell what about new arms deals between both countries.
