Italian Minister of Defense Lorenzo Guerini visited Doha last Wednesday (11/11/20). He met separately with Qatari Emir Tamim, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Bin Khalifa Bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, and Minister of State for Defense Affaits Khaled Al-Attiyah.

These meetings are said to have been intended to accelerate Qatari-Italian military cooperation through a series of projects, including a project for the procurement of more Italian-made helicopters in favor of the Qatar Air Force (QAF).
