Partial US pullout expected in Novembernote

Pro-US Iraqi circles quote a US diplomatic source as revealing that the Pentagon has effectively decided to pull 30,000 soldiers out of Iraq between November 2005 and January 2006. This pullout will include volunteers, but it will certainly exclude the Special Forces and other elite troops, as well as forces specialized in desert war or in charge of eavesdropping and monitoring. According to this diplomatic source, the Pentagon intends to increase the number of helicopters and fighter jets in order to make up for the personnel that will be withdrawn.
