UAE President Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued last Monday (9/1/2023) a federal decree appointing Ali Mohammad Hammad Al-Shamsi as the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security at the rank of a minister, in place of Saif Al-Aryani who was appointed as an advisor at the Presidential Court with the rank of minister.

This decision will not be the last of such nature, as President Sheikh Mohammad is planning to make several changes.

These changes are said to be in favor of President Sheikh Mohammad’s son, Sheikh Khaled.
