The Saudi Defence Ministry is said to have received a preliminary offer from the Pentagon for US-built military vessels in favor of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).
This comes as the RSNF command is looking into an emergency project to provide protection for oil tankers, commercial ships and strategic facilities.
