Independent Shiite sources suggest that Shiite extremists have been abandoning Hizbollah, the Da’wa Party and the “Thar Allah” faction to form an independent armed group to defend Shiite rights in central and southern Iraq. These sources expect this group to recruit thousands of Shiites with its extremist demands, such as its call for the resources of southern Iraq to belong to the people of southern Iraq.
