Kuwaiti Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh appointed on Monday (14/9/20) Major-General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the son of Kuwaiti Deputy Emir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, as Head of the State Security Bureau.

Sheikh Nawaf is said to have pushed for the move by the powers given to him by his brother Emir Sabah who is still undergoing medical treatment at Mayo clinic in the United States.
