Iraq: US military airdrop in Al-Muthanna?

The US military forces stationed in Iraq are rumored to have conducted an airdrop from helicopters in Al-Muthanna Governorate earlier this month.

There is talk that the airdrop targeted a location controlled by the pro-Iran Iraqi Kata’ib Hezbollah located approximately 120 km north of the Iraqi-Saudi-Kuwaiti border triangle.
