There is talk about a project to set up a mechanized Infantry brigade to take part in plans to keep the province of Ninevah (Mosul) under control after retaking it completely from Daesh earlier this week. The project is said to be suggesting supplying the brigade with mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicles.
Tactical Report has prepared a 318-word report to shed more light on the subject and tell how many vehicles the project suggests buying and what about the proposed types. [Briefly reproduced in TR Weekly Issue No 24/28 – July 14, 2017]
