Saudi Arabia: Difficulties to localize US military industriesnote

The Saudi plans to localize the US military industries in the Kingdom within the context of Vision 2030 look to be facing difficulties. This comes as Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, who also acts as Defence Minister, keep holding meetings with US defence contracts for this purpose. These meetings have already included notably President and CEO of Lockheed Martin Marillyn Hewson and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Raytheon Dr. Thomas Kennedy. The following 374-word report sheds more light on the subject. [Partly reproduced in TR Weekly Issue No 24/10 – March 10, 2017]
