Algeria Land Forces, plans to buy 8×8 IFVs

The Algerian Defence Ministry is said to be going ahead with a project to remove some tracked armored vehicles of type BMP-1 from service with the Infantry mechanized divisions and get them replaced with wheeled Infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs).
